Bahana and Navid decided to tie the knot amid the picturesque scenery of Villa Erba overlooking Lake Como. Just one of the many exclusive Italian wedding venues they could choose from. This Villa Erba wedding needed a very special touch since our bride wished for her lavish Italian wedding to also include a hint of Iran. The ceremony also integrated an Iranian traditional wedding ritual called the Sofreh Aghd.

The mission for Imène Hanafi and her team was to organize a lavish and extravagant wedding at Villa Erba, Lake Como. The Sofreh Aghd, the traditional Iranian wedding ritual, had to be magnificently luxurious and, to bring a more modern touch, Imène also used a golden mirror stage where all the symbolic items could be displayed. These items have a specific meaning and symbolize the bond and union of our couple, with family and friends gathered around them to witness their union.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a fabulous Italian aperitivo with the most exquisite typical Italian specialties, served on the terrace of Villa Erba, before heading to the wedding reception with its sumptuous and fairytale decoration.
Imène Hanafi’s experience as a wedding designer allowed her to bring to life the sophisticated vision of the happy couple.
She worked on creating a modern look to contrast with the Neo-Renaissance 19th-century style of the Villa Erba by using mirrored dance floors and tables. The flower decoration brought warmth to the whole set up by using a delicate blush palette for the flowers and the accessories. Lighting design also played a big part in creating the right atmosphere where guests could party all through the night, helped by a talented DJ.
